ECUsafe is a program that protects program in ECU against being read with OBD flashers or programmers:
– CMDflash
– Optican
– Byteshooter
– Alientech KESS, KESS2
– Galetto
– KWP2000
– Dimsport Genius
– Heron Katana Flash
– all other OBD K-line or CAN flashers – original and clones.
Removing of FAP / DPF is easy ! All you need is to read original file from car and process it with proper ECUsafe module, designed to find and remove all important DPF structures automatically, without your attendance (choose ECU type in program, then open original file).
File can be then directly written in ECU, or it can be tuned by you and then – written into car. DPF/FAP can be removed from car, sensors left unplugged (no sensors at all) or left in the exhaust.
No more regeneration, no more black smoke behind. No more DPF check light or lamps on the dashboard. Accepted vehicle types:
– DP1 – VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda – all EDC16 & EDC17 diesels (1.4 TDI, 1.9 TDI, 2.0 TDI, 2.5 TDI, 2.7 TDI, 3.0 TDI, 4.2 TDI, 5.0 TDI etc. )

Thanks indeed, I am really interested to learn how to remove DPF by using any software, i know how to read EEPROM and Flash but I have no idea to modify the file to get DPF off for Range Rover EDC17 CP11.

Hi, can’t seem to get this to run, I’m using Xp but get the “whig app do you want to open this file with” when I double click the ECUsafe Start icon on the desktop, ditto when I try the actual foe on the HD
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

hi, search for main ecusafe folder located in program files, the program should run fine from there, once you have found the correct file that it runs from create a new short cut from that file onto your desktop or pin to start menu.

This tool is dangerous. Using this tool without any knowledge of what it actual does to the ecu file is wrong. It does not delete egr and dpf/fap properly. Instead it changes wrong parts of the file and deletes the dtc codes form appearing on the dash thats it, but it sometimes get the error codes wrong and changes other vital information within the ecu itself. Removing the dpf in this way without removing it physically and forcing a dpf clean first can damage your engine costing you hundreds to repair. Moreover removing the dpf will now be an MOT failure in 2014 in the UK!!

Hi, i havê a problem with my car, i havê tried to remap my VW golf 4 tdi 1.9 115hp Ajm, and the computer starts to read the ECU, then stops at 28%

Check your voltage is above 12v and turn off everything electrical, fans, radio, close doors etc. If that doesn’t work try pulling the fuse to your instrument cluster

Yes the tool was tested by me. I did not test all ECU types, but it should work in all cases. Let me know if it do not work on some ECU.
