Short review of BDM100 programmer. OUTDATED TOOL!
BDM100 is BDM-100 ECU Tuning Programmer/ECU/Reader/Flasher.
BDM-100 is a universal reader and programmer that allows the user to read and program files in the ECU supplied with Motorola MPC5xx processors. BDM-100 requires the ECU to be opened and removed so that you can connect a flat cable to a specific area to the ECU. The other end of the BDM100 is connected to the USB port of any computer. BDM100 will allow you to create copies of the ECU software. Chip tuning of ECUs with Motorola MPC555 – 565.
It is good ECU reader/writer, it supports many types of ECUs. But there is one clue: you need to open your ECU, connect BDM’s adapters and then read/write (cable flashers do not need technical skills). It needs technical skills.

Just wondering if anyone can help. I’m wondering if it will be possible to use one of the programmers to flash the ECU on my 1999 VW Golf 1.8T AGU. The ECU in it appears to be a Bosch M3.8.2.
Has anyone any experience with dealing with such ECU’s and could provide any guidance? I have done quite a lot of searching before asking this question but have been unable to find an answer.

Hi I have a japan made toyota vitz rs turbo that I would like to remap. Can you tell me what is the best tool and software for this kind of car. Will be using it for racing. By the way do you already have a remap for this model. Would be nice if you have an article as to how tk go about remaping in a step by step tutorial. Would really like to learn how to remap cheaper than buying a greedy ultimate piggyback ecu for tunning

Could you please tell me which hardware i should use to reprogram Nissan Altima 2.5 ECU (Middle East Specs)? The Ecu model is 23710-ZX16E. My car is limited to 140 Km/hr and doesn’t exceed that speed. I did a bit of research and found out that Reprogramming will solve the problem. Tried nissan consult iii plus chinese clone, but reprogramming menu is not accessible. Hope you could advice me better.

Hello. I do not recommend to tune this car. It is low capacity petrol engine, which will not give you any useful benefit.
He has already 130pk on the dynamobank stock .
but if I would have let it chipt bij company he would have 150pk.
But what tool do you advise me if i want to do this myself?

I need a tool to read Renault Laguna 130 dCi ECU. I think its a Bosch EDC16.
Also a Volvo S40 1.9 with EDC15.
Will this tool work for these? If not would you be able to recommend another tool?

Hi. I’ve used DigiProg OBD for Laguna. Don’t need to open ECU.
